Sinner withdraws from Paris-Bercy!

Having qualified for the last 16 on Wednesday after a 2:15-hour duel with McDonald and a 2:37am conlusion, the Italian withdrawn on Thursday before facing De Minaur. This is surely a way of ensuring his recovery before the ATP Finals in Turin.

Some stupid people are saying it is about money. Top tennis players care much more about winning the biggest prizes and the the Turin finals is much bigger than the Paris masters. Sinner was made to play at ridiculous hours last night, risking him his ability to catch up. What is a faultier is the ATP and their greed. 100% empathise with Sinner and his decision to pull out and prioritise the more important competition coming up.

What is his excuse for withdrawing? Injury? Illness? Or he's just playing the numbers game hoping this will improve his rankings if he goes further into Turin. What does manipulating points and numbers have to do with actually playing tennis? I guess in the end it's all about money for everyone involved.

Everything is about money.. But he had lately some tough matches.. those matches might have taken a huge toll of his fitness or whatever.. why should we blame him? Capisco? Haters will be allways haters.

I happen to like Sinner. I believe he is going to eventually win multiple majors. He's just too inconsistent in his level of play to do that right now. And one way to improve your level is to go out and train yourself mentally to play at a high level and the primary way to do that is in competition. I'm disappointed about not getting to see him play.

(If one says something negative about a player it doesn't mean they hate them. Well, maybe it does for some people and then they project that mentality on to others.)
