Surreal, Vacherot speaks for the first time on his social media

Valentin Vacherot has returned home to Monaco following his title win in Shanghai. On his Instagram account, he spoke out to express his state of mind, not forgetting his cousin, Arthur Rinderknech, whom he defeated in the final.

"Surreal. No words can describe this feeling. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to my team, my family, my friends, the tournament organizers, and everyone who has supported me so far.

This surpasses my wildest dreams. I love you, Arthur."

Vacherot will return to competition the week of October 20th as he has received a wild-card from the organizers of the Basel tournament.
