Tested Positive for Clostebol, an American Player Suspended by the ITIA
On this Monday, December 22, the ITIA (International Tennis Integrity Agency) announced the provisional suspension of player Jessica Eudovic.
She tested positive for Clostebol (a substance for which Jannik Sinner was suspended for three months this year) during a Futures tournament held in El Salvador in early October and was provisionally suspended on November 21.
An Appeal Rejected by the ITIA
As stated by the ITIA on its website, the 18-year-old player appealed this decision on December 1. Fifteen days later, on December 16, the agency deemed her appeal "insufficient to lift the provisional suspension."
While awaiting her fate, Eudovic remains suspended from all professional tennis-related activities.
