"The others don't play in the same league": Panatta buries Sinner and Alcaraz's rivals

The others don't play in the same league: Panatta buries Sinner and Alcaraz's rivals

In an unfiltered statement, Adriano Panatta praised Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz while openly downplaying the chances of their rivals on the ATP circuit.

On the show La Domenica Sportiva, the former Roland-Garros winner offered a scathing analysis of the current level of the duo's opponents who now dominate world tennis.

"They are in a different category. I don't see how the others can beat them. Sinner is incredibly consistent, Alcaraz is very complete with numerous solutions. This year, they have shared the Grand Slams, displaying an extremely high level.

They are joined by Musetti, Shelton, and Draper. João Fonseca is also very promising, but Jannik and Carlos are in a different category and I don't see how they can lose to these players."

As a reminder, the Spaniard and the Italian have won the last eight Majors between them. Recently, Alcaraz took the world number one spot from Sinner following the US Open final.

Carlos Alcaraz
2e, 11250 points
Jannik Sinner
1e, 11500 points
Lorenzo Musetti
9e, 3685 points
Jack Draper
11e, 2990 points
Joao Fonseca
24e, 1665 points
Ben Shelton
6e, 3970 points
