The quarterfinal schedule this Thursday at Indian Wells

This Thursday, March 13, the quarterfinals take center stage in both singles draws at Indian Wells. On the main court, the action will begin at 7:00 PM (French time) with the match featuring defending champion Iga Swiatek.

The Polish player, who has been unstoppable since the start of the tournament and has conceded only six games in three matches against Garcia, Yastremska, and Muchova, will face Zheng Qinwen in a rematch of last year's Paris Olympics semifinal, which was won by the Chinese player.

Following that, Arthur Fils, the last remaining French player in California, will attempt to pull off a huge upset against Daniil Medvedev, who has reached the final in the last two editions and is known for performing well at Indian Wells.

In the night session, world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka will need to navigate the trap set by Liudmila Samsonova. Finally, Carlos Alcaraz will close out the program on Stadium 1 with a match against Francisco Cerundolo.

On Stadium 2, the first match will also be at 7:00 PM in France, featuring an intriguing clash between Tallon Griekspoor and Holger Rune. Following that, Mirra Andreeva will aim to reach her second consecutive WTA 1000 semifinal against Elina Svitolina.

Next, Madison Keys will take on Belinda Bencic before a left-handed showdown concludes the day, with Ben Shelton and Jack Draper battling for the last spot in the semifinals.
