The start of the final between Alcaraz and Sinner delayed for security reasons

The highly anticipated clash between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will begin with a delay.

Scheduled for 2 p.m. local time (8 p.m. in France), the US Open final will be postponed by 30 minutes, as announced by the tournament's account on X.

The organizers justify this delay due to "the high security measures in place" (visit of President Donald Trump) and to ensure spectators have access to their seats before the match begins.

Both Sinner and Alcaraz are on top of their game but I think (my opinion) Sinner has a slight edge and that could be the defining factor in the match today. I expect this to be a great game.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
