The surprise guest: Tsitsipas joins the Six Kings Slam lineup
A luxury competition, a multi-million dollar check, and six global stars: the Six Kings Slam returns with Tsitsipas as a last-minute guest.
The Six Kings Slam, second edition, is finally complete. While the list of six participating players was announced at the beginning of the month, the organizers could not anticipate the season-ending injury of Jack Draper, who hurt his arm.
This withdrawal has led to the addition of a new player in this highly lucrative exhibition. It will be none other than Stefanos Tsitsipas, a two-time Grand Slam finalist (French Open 2021 and Australian Open 2023) but on a downward slope this season and recently affected by a back injury.
The world No. 27 joins Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Taylor Fritz for this Netflix-broadcasted competition, which will take place from October 15 to 18 (with a rest day on the 17th).
Last year, Sinner pocketed a six-million-dollar check (a little over 5 million euros) for his victory in the final against Alcaraz.
