There are too many injuries, it's no longer possible," Cobolli explodes after Rune's injury

Flavio Cobolli reacts to Holger Rune's terrible injury and denounces an "inhumane" schedule.
As he prepares to compete in the Vienna tournament, Flavio Cobolli angrily addressed the serious injury of his fellow tour player Holger Rune (Achilles tendon rupture).
"It will be a long absence, because it's a very serious injury. Something has to change... There are too many injuries. I wrote to him right after this unfortunate event. He replied that the conditions weren't optimal, that it was obviously very hard for him," he told Sky Sport.
At the heart of the controversy: the ATP calendar, considered too dense, too demanding, almost inhumane for the bodies of top-level players.
"I don't think in other elite sports there is such a long schedule with so few weeks of training. We want to stay healthy and put on a show... But at this rate, it's no longer possible.
