This Saturday's program at the Laver Cup
The eighth edition of the Laver Cup is gradually entering its decisive phase, with four new matches on the program this Saturday.
Although the team has done everything in its power to reclaim the trophy this year, the World team is holding up well so far, with the score tied at 2-2 after 4 matches.
Thus, the day will open with an intriguing first singles match between Daniil Medvedev and Frances Tiafoe, not before 1pm.
Immediately afterwards, the event will feature a match of the gifted, as Carlos Alcaraz takes on the unpredictable Ben Shelton.
As for the Night Session, first up is Alexander Zverev, who will be seeking his double revenge against Taylor Fritz.
Beaten at Wimbledon and then at the US Open by the same American, the German will this time try to impose his law and his tennis.
The second day concludes with the doubles match between Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alejandro Tabilo and, once again, Ben Shelton.
As a reminder, each victory on this second day is far more valuable than the one achieved the day before, as it will earn the team concerned two points.
The first team to score a minimum of 13 points wins the Laver Cup.
