The World Tennis League exhibition kicks off this Thursday in Abu Dhabi. The first clash will be between the Hawks and Falcons teams.
The first doubles match saw Mira Andreeva and Aryna Sabalenka take on Caroline Garcia and Elena Rybakina.
Andreeva and Sabalenka won 7-6. In singles, Andrey Rublev will face Jordan Thompson, and in women's singles, Sabalenka versus Rybakina.
The second match will be the Eagles versus the Kites. In doubles, Paula Badosa and Iga Swiatek take on Simona Halep and Jasmine Paolini.
In singles, Swiatek versus Paolini and Stefanos Tsitsipas versus Casper Ruud.
Each game won by a player earns his team a point.
