Tiafoe goes for a ride in his first match

Frances Tiafoe didn't miss a beat on Monday.

Facing Yi Zhou, ranked 440th in the world, the whimsical American made no bones about it, winning in just over an hour (6-2, 6-4 in 1h02).

Taking advantage of an opponent far inferior to him, Tiafoe calmly put his game together.

Dominant in the rallies and untouchable on serve (90% of points won on first serve), the world number 17 reached the third round with authority.

For a place in the last 16, he will face Roman Safiullin.
