"You have to listen to your body"

According to her, it's an understandable decision: "I don't think it's a mistake. There are many tournaments in the year and those who don't know this lifestyle can't understand everything we endure.

We are lucky to live this life, but it's not as idyllic as it seems. There are many sacrifices and a lot of mental pressure to handle. At the end of the year, you have to listen to your body and mind and decide what's best for yourself."

The Musetti case

She then discussed the case of Lorenzo Musetti, who also didn't go to Bologna: "For me, playing for Italy is always a privilege and a dream, but every player is different and timing is important.

For example, Lorenzo Musetti and his partner Veronica are expecting a child. It's an incredible moment in private life; it only happens once or twice in a lifetime, and it's important to fully enjoy it."
