The problem with tsitsipas is inability to plan points. Not everything is power drive and rush to net. Not every points is backhand flair. Look at djoker. Dropshots. Calculated Rally's. Energy saving games always.menta strength and believe.

He isn't a good player. It's all in the head. And mentality is not his strength.

He will never live up to the expectations of being a great player.

What is he? A one-time Slam semi-finalist.

And, if he's not careful, that's what he'll be known for.

Tsitsipas has all the talent in the world to be the best. But I think he needs to work.on his endurance and build some more muscle on his legs

Oh, Jeremy, Jeremy. What are we going to do with you!

Stevie is a poor player who has had big words coming from his mouth but has never been able to back it up by consistent big results on the court.

That's what I'm talking about. 80 or more % of the game is in the mind. And Stevie is a big failure in that department.

He cooked his goose.

Can't think of a loss as humiliating as this one.

But will he heed and be humbled?

Did not see the match, did Coric win it (like a Novak), or dit Tsitsi lose it (like a Fed)? ?

Great Coric, congrats!

Borna won it. He went for the shots in the important moments.

But Stevie is in danger of being left out if he continues with the mediocre results at the Slams.

I would have expected the next generation to at least be reaching semis and finals of Slams consistently to prove their worth.

Astonishing, Tsitsipas has the most beautiful game since Federer, and will no doubt win some slams, but needs a BETTER COACH!

Must be very depressing for Stef to have squandered many match points. When it comes to play the decisive points he needs to improve. He will for sure
Nag_Novak
Tsitsipas didn't played his best and also didn't find way to overcome the situation.

The paradox dividing tennis: exhausted players and a saturated calendar, yet ever more exhibitions
The paradox dividing tennis: exhausted players and a saturated calendar, yet ever more exhibitions

Exhausted but omnipresent stars, ever-longer tournaments and exhibitions that have become a business in their own right: tennis is revealing its deepest contradictions, torn between spectacle and physical survival.

The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
Adrien Guyot 29/11/2025 à 09h08
Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.

From controversial reform to fiery statements, the Davis Cup continues to divide. Between nostalgia for the old formats and unwavering love for the jersey, players share their truths about a competition that, despite everything, still makes hearts race.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
