Tsitsipas emerges victorious from his 1st round in Paris
Last year's semi-finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas opened the first night session of the week with a victory over Roberto Carballes Baena.
The world No. 11 needed three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) to beat the Spaniard, who came through the qualifying rounds.
With this victory, Tsitsipas won his 100th Masters 1000 match and moves on to the 2nd round, where he awaits the winner of the match between Alejandro Tabilo and Nuno Borges.
