Tuesday's program at Roland-Garros
The first round is almost over in Paris. Indeed, this Tuesday sees the final duels of the first round. At the end of the third day, only 64 men and 64 women will be dreaming of winning the French Open (down from 128 at the start of the tournament).
Among the matches on the programme are Djokovic's opener against Herbert, Ruud's against Meligeni Alves, Sabalenka's against Erika Andreeva, Rybakina's against Minnen, Rune's against Evans, De Minaur's against Michelsen, Fritz's against Coria and Keys' against Zarazua.
On the French side, a number of French players will be taking to the courts, as Cornet will be playing her last match at Roland-Garros, against Zheng (world no. 7). In addition, Cazaux will face Etcheverry, Mladenovic will take on Martic, Mpetshi Perricard will try to follow up against Goffin, Barrere will challenge Bublik, Mannarino will play Zeppieri, Rinderknech will face Walton and Lestienne will play Carballes Baena.
Last but not least, there are a number of interesting first rounds to follow, including Carreno Busta's comeback after almost a year without playing against Navone, the duel between Borges (47th) and Machac (34th), the 100% Spanish clash between Munar and Bautista Agut, Sara Errani's possible last match and the duel of the future between Cobolli and Medjedovic.
