It's raining at Roland-Garros this Tuesday morning, and only the duels between Alizé Cornet and Qinwen Zheng (scheduled for noon) and Elena Rybakina and Greet Minnen (scheduled for 11:00 am) have started on time, under the closed roofs of the Philippe Chatrier and Suzanne Lenglen courts.

The weather forecast for the rest of the day is no drier. Rain could fall on Paris until around 5:00 p.m., promising a pleasant scheduling headache for the organizers and a day of waiting for sunny spells for spectators with tickets for the annex courts.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
