United Cup - Great Britain beat Argentina in a tightly-contested group

Great Britain took on Argentina in Group F of the United Cup.

The British won 2-1, with Katie Boulter beating Nadia Podoroska 6-2, 6-3.

Billy Harris lost to Tomas Martin Etcheverry 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.

In the decisive doubles match, Boulter/Broom defeated Etcheverry/Carle 7-6, 7-5.

The remaining match in Group F, between Australia and Great Britain, takes place this Wednesday.

All three teams can still qualify, but victory will be imperative for the Australians.
