Vicente on Rublev: "It's impossible to convince him not to train on the pitch".
During the summer break, players take advantage of the opportunity to take a break of varying lengths. Not so for Andrey Rublev.
His coach, Fernando Vicente, explains: "Andrey only had a week to rest.
Now we're starting a week where we'll be doing nothing but physical training, no tennis. Even if it's difficult, it's impossible to convince Rublev not to train on the court.
He wants to play every day. As soon as I try to plan something with my family, he says, "No no, tomorrow we're training."
He won't let me be with my family!" concludes Vicente with a laugh.
