A few days before the Davis Cup quarter-final between Spain and the Netherlands, Rafael Nadal showed some very positive signs in training.

In a short video posted this morning, the former world No.1 can be seen having an intense exchange with team-mate Roberto Bautista Agut during a training match (see video below).

A point won at net by Nadal, which testifies to the intensity of the sessions he has been carrying out since his arrival in Malaga.

If Nadal continues to show signs of improvement in training, as he did today, David Ferrer will have an important decision to make regarding the second player to be lined up in singles behind Carlos Alcaraz.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.
