Jannik Sinner and Francisco Cerundolo faced off in Vienna in 2022 during the second round.

During this match, the Italian played a shot that bounced twice on the net cord in a spectacular fashion, before landing back in the Argentine's side of the court.

Despite a forward sprint, Cerundolo was unable to reach this ball. Luck was on the Italian's side, who won the match 7-5, 6-3.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.
