From January 2 to 11, 2026, eighteen teams will compete to win the United Cup, a mixed team competition held each year at the beginning of the year as preparation for the Australian Open.

In the coming weeks, Perth and Sydney will host the fourth edition of this exhibition tournament. While the team compositions were revealed as early as November, the list of captains was only made public in recent hours.

Big names as captains during the United Cup 2026

Thus, Lleyton Hewitt, who already holds this role in the Davis Cup, will be the captain of Australia, and Tim Henman that of Great Britain. Stan Wawrinka will be on the bench and accompany the Swiss team, of which he is also a part as a player. On the French side, it is Lucas Pouille who will have this mission.
