Shamil Tarpischev, current president of the Russian Tennis Federation, has spoken about his country's chances of returning to international competitions. Regarding the Russian Olympic Committee, he stated: 'I think we will participate in all Games in 2027, with our flag and anthem.

The situation is evolving very quickly and we have a lot of support. The process will be much faster. So there is certainly hope for the Olympic Games.'

Russia has not participated in the Davis Cup since its title in 2021. As for the Olympic Games, Russian players participated in 2024 under a neutral banner.

I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
