When Sabalenka discovers her own screams: "People should wear earplugs!"
Invited by Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show, Aryna Sabalenka discussed the screams she makes when hitting the ball. The Belarusian wanted to clear herself of blame, even though she acknowledges they are annoying.
"It's so annoying"
She said: "I absolutely can't help it. Once, I was playing an exhibition match with Novak, and they put a microphone on me. I realized I was screaming, and I thought: 'Oh my God, it's so annoying. People should wear earplugs!'
I don't want to annoy people. I wanted to remove the microphone, but I think they cut it when I hit the ball."
