Who are the highest-paid female athletes in 2025? One certainty stands out: tennis remains the most lucrative sport, driven by ever-increasing prize money and advertising contracts that only WTA circuit stars seem able to attract.

Gauff Leads Sabalenka

Among the 15 highest-paid athletes of the year according to Sportico, Coco Gauff takes the top spot, with nearly $31 million combined from tournament performances and commercial partnerships.

At just 21 years old, the American continues to fascinate sponsors, especially since she secured a second Grand Slam title this season at Roland-Garros. She narrowly leads world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who totals $30 million.

Swiatek Completes the Podium, Seven Other Players in the Top 15

In third place on the podium, Iga Swiatek ends the year with $23 million. And tennis dominance doesn't stop there: seven other players appear in this top 15, including Qinwen Zheng, Madison Keys, Elena Rybakina, Naomi Osaka, Amanda Anisimova, Jessica Pegula, and Venus Williams.

If you belong to one group of people, you make money. If in another, not so much. But, we have inequality they protest.

It will really be befitting if he attains his 25th Grand Slam crown at the AO for he's truly the GOAT & this will stamp him & endorse his GOAT status without an iota of doubt

Almost as important to Djokovic as Slam #25--and requiring less luck--is beating Federer's total of 103 singles titles. He'll play 250s, and might even surpass Connors's 109.
