"Why did you let her ask a question?", when Shelton is questioned by his girlfriend at a press conference

Ben Shelton will advance to the third round of the US Open. The American, considered one of the outsiders for the title this year in New York, eliminated Pablo Carreño Busta in three sets (6-4, 6-2, 6-4) and will face Adrian Mannarino for a spot in the second week of the 2025 edition at Flushing Meadows.
Present at the press conference after his victory over the Spaniard, a two-time US Open semifinalist in 2017 and 2020, the world No. 6 had the pleasant surprise of seeing his girlfriend, soccer player Trinity Rodman, ask him a question.
"What does it feel like not being able to serve over 135 mph (around 216 km/h) today?" Rodman asked him, while the man in question couldn't hide his laughter.
"Why did you let her ask a question? At this point, just let anyone into the room! It was cold outside, that's the main reason for it. Maybe I should serve harder, but I'll have to improve all that for next time," Shelton simply replied.
