Mikhail Youzhny was a guest on The Changeover Podcast. The former world No. 8, who retired in 2018, addressed comparisons between his game and Roger Federer's, particularly due to his one-handed backhand.

He stated: "I use much more energy. It's like Mercedes and Toyota, they look the same, but not really."

Federer and Youzhny faced each other 17 times during their professional careers, with a decisive record of 17 wins to 0 for the Swiss player.
