Zverev new world no. 2 after US Open
Alexander Zverev's results have been exceptionally consistent for over a year now. This will be even more evident in the ATP rankings next Monday (September 9, 2024), as the German returns to the world No. 2 spot he held between June and September 2022.
Zverev is also benefiting from Novak Djokovic's disappointing Grand Slam season and Carlos Alcaraz's inconsistent performances. Jannik Sinner, for his part, is guaranteed to remain world No.1.
