Zverev reacts to Tsitsipas' comment: "I think Sinner has something to say about that".
Beaten by Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals of the Rolex Paris Masters, Stefanos Tsitsipas explained that he finds the German the player who has improved his tennis the most of all the players he has faced this season, compared to last season.
Zverev reacted to this with a great deal of humor, before showing himself to be flattered by the Greek's compliment. He also confirmed that he was constantly striving to improve his game.
Alexander Zverev: "I think Jannik Sinner has something to say about that (smile). But I'm glad he thinks so. It's a great compliment for me on his part. So I thank him for that.
But, I mean, I'm trying, I'm working on things, I'm trying different things, for sure. Tennis doesn't stop, you know. You have to keep finding ways to improve.
When you see how Jannik (Sinner) and Carlos (Alcaraz) are playing right now. Tennis is getting so fast and so aggressive that, yes, you have to find ways to improve your game."
