Sounds like she has a predisposition to depression, most likely genetic. If she can manage it without pharmaceuticals that would be great, but if not, there is no reason to suffer when medications can help.

Based on Sabalenka's level of experience and career long inconsistencies losing to lesser opponents, one would think she could take this in stride. In her defense, a player winning a slam can make many, many millions beyond the prize money. Seeing that this tournament literally turned into a cake walk to the trophy and the many millions, maybe the anger stems from having totally blown such an opportunity.
