I don't see why skipping the Olympics was bad. Lots of players did it for safety reasons. Also it was ridiculously hot, Badosa had a heat stroke and Djokovic and Medvedev complained. Don't see how Bianca would have survived that. Bencic barely got attention or much following on social media after her win

I've basically given up on Bianca. Ever since she faked that injury and pulled out of that tournament early this year and then pulling out of the olympics for no ligit reason its been hard to root for her.

My only question is what will her ranking drop to after she gets eliminated first round of the US Open and Indian Wells. Isnt she defending like 85% of ranking points between Montreal and Indian Wells?

Bianca is struggling against people who defend well and mix up the pace.. I feel the struggle as I'm very much the same, but she needs to overcome this as you can't just hit people off the court
