Oh so now that Ashleigh's playing a British player they wanna put her on Centre Court. What a joke!

AK BL
From 6-0 6-0 to 6-1 6-1. This is what I call improvement

Ash has been treaten like dogshit at wimbledon. No 1 in the world and now she's on centre for first time only cos theres british interest as collateral?

Stick it to these Poms-- thrash her ash! ?

Go Ashleigh ? You got this ?

Good Afternoon Aladdin.

I still think they would rather be off the show courts though..

Thing is guys, we haven't got any decent British players, so when there are some actually ones playing, the media etc goes nuts! It drives us mad too! Same in any British/English sport - the media are crap! I hate it.

@ tong - don't blame the players! They would probably feel more at ease off the show courts!

Give it your all Harriet

Glad got a game now

Harriet doing her best....but Ash is on another level.

S. Vamshi
Totally agree Aladdin. You gotta draw crowds to the biggest courts. Scheduling a home player might be a good idea.

It's ok if you can afford a ticket for Wimbledon, have you seen the prices, especially for the show courts. ??

In worried for poor harriet... after getting double bagelled by Masha at the Aussie open earlier this year, she was crestfallen in tears-- now she's getting routed again, but in front of a home crowd this time. Hope she gets a few more games ?

normhkt
Poor thing, will she cry ?
2
Wendymancini
Yes AK, against a better player too ?
2
Snoopy 10
True, sandpaper on a tennis ball wouldn't really help.??

This will be guaranteed centre court

Shame for Harriet to have to meet Barty so soon , but you never know. The grass can be slippy.

Wendymancini
Exactly what I just said Vis - they don't want all the attention!
1
Federer fan
They r unable to handle that pressure....

Poor Harriet. Really up against it

Double bagel I wouldn't wonder..

This is embarrassing ?

I don't understand why people complain about who's playing on which court unless they're actually at Wimbledon.
It also happens at all the other Slams, where the home players 90% of the time will play on the "show courts" It's all to do with the money that normal TV generates

Good afternoon Wendy. ?

Snoopy 10
True enough.

Go Ash! 61 61 sounds good! But Kvitova and Pliskova are my tips for the final. ?
