It just by fate of luck, that some of the main contenders have been kicked out - Nishikori, Roanic, Ferrer, Nadal.

In any case, who says he couldn't have battled it through to the finals as he's done in all other 3 Grand slams this year?

Federer also has had a similar easy wins/draws. apart from the Semis that he's likely to face a tougher opponent - Wawrinka or Murray.

Personally don't see his run from now to quarter finals - i.e. possibility of facing Berdych a contention for him, although I wish it was so...
