Good luck querrey Go USA. Since my Rafa is out going to Rout for Fed to win. and anyone besides Novak because I've never been able to stomach his arrogant attitude, even at #3 and we'll behind Rafa snd Roger he was insufferable but as #1, it has gone to a sickening level. I wish he could learn some humility from other top players
And by the way for those who are complaining that djoko isn't playing on centre.. he's still in the tournament only because yesterday he wasn't sheduled to play on court 1, where there is no roof..
I'm pretty fed up with all this rain delay bullshit. Can't imagine how the ticket holders feel... My biggest issue is that there is a reason grand slams are best out of 5.
These guys shouldn't play if there is no chance to finish the match. As was the case with this match yesterday.
1. It ruins the quality of the tennis we watch and don't get me started on the constant stopping and starting.
2. Physical endurance is rendered useless. In tournaments where it usually separates the best players.
3. The players have a whole day of "will they, won't they" and "when will they", so their training routines, warm up routines are also screwed up.
4. Grass gets so slippery that even in cleats you have to watch your step. Imagine having to start and stop on a dime in tennis shoes. At what point do you stop thinking about striking the ball and start thinking about your career.
5. It is just unfair. I am a die hard Djokovic fan. Something a hole in the wall attests to, one that was put there after last year's French open final. So while I believe that he could have dug himself out of a two - zero hole yesterday... It's crazy unfair to Sam. He was rolling, serve was working.... It could have been a quick match.
It's not a true competition if you play a set a day. I'd like to see a finals where both players come in having the same road. Novak played 4 out of 5 days in the French this year... Frankly that may not have been a disadvantage, he is in great physical shape he was coming into the final hot, gave it his all and won. You can't always tell who suffers more mentally or rhythm wise or physically... All you can be sure of is that it's unfair.
They Always Have Top Players Play One Match At Least On a smaller court, so does French Open etc. That way people who can't afford center court tickets can get a chance. And they sell out those courts too.
Fortunate to witness Nole era, Novak slam and he is the complete player I ever see. I like other players roger rafa Murray Stan. But this guy set benchmark to himself
The anger in me grows with each point he wins..
It's so weird that people do not understand the difference between greatness of Fed and Djoko..
Djoko is great player but he's so booring. I mean he's a funny guy but he's not Fed.
Tennis would never have grown fanwise if not for fed..
Alright nyteowl, it was very important for all of us to learn your very relevant and unbiased opinion about Novak.
Speaking about some other player taking No. 1 spot, all chances are that you will need to wait few more years for that to happen. And it is not going to be Rafa or Roger to take him down. That's called grim reality, sorry mate.
In the meanwhile, I am quite confident you will enjoy watching the best player of all time writing new tennis history.
Nobody knows about the vagaries of grass better than Federer. As far as 2012 olympics is concerned, it was an aberration that Murray has beat federer. Federer was drained out by the time he has reached the fin. I remember Federer outlasted delpotro 19-7 in that contest. In my perspective Federer is class above everyone on grass i he is at his imperious best. Federe of 2003-2007 would have crushed everyone on grass. Its just as simple as that!!!

I know his fans are sad.... But just admire the fact Querrey won in amazing fashion!
:) 😕 :) :)
Lucky Djoker... as always

As for Novak, it's ok. It happens. He'll bounce back.
Let's not fight. :)
