What excites me most about the situation Konta is in at the moment, is that the top 10 is literally within her reach. If she wins this tournament, which I know is very unlikely, she will become the No. 10, and only based on 6 months worth of 'major' points.

Talking about unlikiness though, Serena looks to be having trouble atm, and that would completely open up the tournament for everyone if she were to go out, so maybe not so unlikely. This could be someone's breakthrough tournament....

Obviously though, I am well aware that anything can happen, and she could lose the next 10 games, but I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed anyway.
