Nearing his 40 we all should be grateful that we still are witnessing pure class tennis from the master.

Everything is fine with Roger Jeet.. Sometimes he is mentally not up there.. At times he just couldn't control ufes.. Can't afford to do that against top guys

Yes, another goat final would be great, but we have to take it one match at a time, it takes only one great match by a certain player against a goat, a slip or two, a injury, etc, and suddenly everything changes at a GS.

Fed was testing his form. He can push harder, as he showed in the beginning of the 4th, but he would like to avoid it and save it for the final stages.

Could have but the way Federer played in 4th set it wouldn't have been a win unless Fed started playing trash like he did in 3rd.

Jeet, I am a big fan of the guy that said after RG final: nothing is impossible, and he is doing that currently this year living the dream, therefore yes, Fed can also do it if he picks up in the next 10 days, or some other guy here can surprise us all, who knows.

But like you said, on today's form, the match would have been gone quickly in Novkak's favor.

Fed did a Houdini and escaped. He will need to play much better for week two to be an option.
