Now now... Let's not jump the gun. Still a long way to go. Of course as an ardent Federer supporter, I would like him to see him lift wimbledon one more time by beating Djokovic but I must admit that it is far fetched at the this point. In terms of pure skill, I don't think there's a player who can surpass Federer but winning grand slams isn't just about skill but more of a mental battle and Djokovic is just such a mental giant, probably the strongest ever and he's proved it time and again. Djokovic is the overwhelming favourite and Federer will do well to take a set off him on current form.

The biggest enemy of Federer is his own Mind....this is the reason he is still at 20 or else could have won 25 slams. Djoker on the other hand had won 5 more by his mental ability.

Post match conferences are always lit with Roger

Well guys, what are we talking about? It's not possible to find the best game for a 1-2 matches. Not even possible. But what I see is that Roger really played better than before. He moves step by step and I see the progress. Still way from the top but damit he moves. And don't forget who Norrie is in this season on grass. He is top 30 and playing home and he nothing to lose and he loves grass. It's not a joke for the 3rd round at all. It's a decent player and challenge for this round. Especially is for recovering Roger.

Well done Roger and we move forward. Thanks for all, champ!

It seems to be coming back.... The confidence is rising, the feel on grass and the exceptional ability to take the ball on the rise...and most importantly he is making it look oh so easy... The oil painting of a backhand is an exclamation point! Pure class

So annoying the crowd are gonna get behind Norrie coz they don’t know he’s not actually British. He’s from New Zealand

Norrie is the rudest most arrogant guy for his level of tennis too. I remember the shit he talked about Rafa at Roland Garros before he got humbled

Well I am so glad finally roger started hitting winners of forehands than making errors... well step wise in 1st round nothing was good except few out of mind play in patches.... in 2nd round forehand came good and roger was on top.... I guess in this round he needs that roger like invincible serve to come back... if it does I think by quarters he will be fully confident like he always is... good luck Roger be focused.... win or loose I am with you always.... love you...

Cameron 🇬🇧, for the win in a close fought match, could go the distance, but hopefully Cameron can get the win in 3-4 sets.👍

One thing we all acknowledge Roger is definitely not in Roger mode though we saw improvement which is good second he is enjoying the tournament which we can see in his post match interviews... we all know players finds it easier hitting crosscourt so naturally forehand of a lefty will land on rogers backhand mostly....
So the question is doesn't Roger knows it... how many leftys were successful against Roger apart from the great rafa... I don't think any... and Rafa also dominated him that too way back 7 to 8 years ago recently apart from clay rafa failed to create that magic... ( this definitely means Roger evolved as a player and rectified that opponents advantage)...
Again this also means Rogers forehand will land on lefty noori's backhand...

So as per my little knowledge of tennis if rogers forehand works error free then he will eat up norrie without his backhand firing... but if he makes error on forehand God knows.... but I feel it will be lot easier than many of us are thinking...

In 1973, Billie Jean King did far more than beat Bobby Riggs: she toppled a symbol. Five decades later, the “Battle of the Sexes” is reborn between Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios, but this time, the battle seems to have lost its soul.

The digital era of tennis: stakes and influence of social networks on players
Arthur Millot 27/12/2025 à 11h26
Social networks have opened an unprecedented era for tennis: one in which notoriety is built as much on the court as on Instagram. But how far can this quest for visibility go without shaking the players’ balance?
