@opchaharped 'Most fans want his departure' - what a load of rubbish! He still enjoys tennis - he is still number 3 in the world - he needs more practice at the moment! You do talk rubbish you really do!!!

Very even match. One point decided the winner.

Reaction of Thiem was gold - he could not believe he won against Fed on grass

Kinda backing thiem on this. Will be nice to see a youngster winning matches like this bc unfortunately Roger won't last forever. Time for players to start fighting for the crown!!

2 consecutive wins against Federer. GRASS court the last one. Congrats Thiem. You deserve it. You'll be No1 in several years.

Roger is now #13 in the Race to London. No year end tournament for him this year.

I had not known anything abt Tennis, just used to read news papers when I was in my early teens. Thats when I saw him playing, started knowing about him, love to tennis had blossomed... and still continuing; I just cant imagine a Slam or any ATP without Fed. I might even stop watching Tennis the day he retires. Just like how it happened with Cricket when Dravid retired.

Guys, please stop talking as if you have fathered Roger or Rafa or Djokovic or some other great player... They don't even know you... Why fight among each other?

Muzamil Afzal
Theim is kind of player who can win grandslams. I am pretty sure he will have one or two within next couple of years.

Federer go home and take care of your family, your time is long gone! You have 4 children for Gods sake, live the tennis for people that can play! Thiem will be number 1 when Đoković retires, when he gets his 22nd GS!

Roger does a great job of taking out the competition for Novak in grandslams. He feels even more nervous than Murray in the finals in front of Novak.

The digital era of tennis: stakes and influence of social networks on players
Arthur Millot 27/12/2025 à 11h26
