He just wants to play more man. Indian wells is coming up. Need in-game practice. This is all intentional.

I don’t foresee any problems here. Fuscovics is terrible.

Fuk him up fucsovics

Vismai I think Roger's game is good in individual aspects but as a whole it's lacking...
One day he would return badly but forehands make up for it
Other day his forehands are off serves come to the rescue
If he were to win big tournaments then everything should fall in place at the right time
That's how he can win one more slam...

Roger need to win this in straight sets.. .

Roger is greatest player in the world

Roger has been playing like sh*t for the past year and a half. Seems like age finally cought him. It was about time anways. The crazy level he showed the first 8 months of 2017 wasn’t normal for a guy at his age.

Roger not upto his mark

Roger will win here, but against basilashvili it is going to be difficult. It is expected for him to win this tournament.
On the other hand, if he loses, I think it is still very good for him. He will be motivated to train more and be in top form for Wimbledon and US open.
Hope he works even harder!

Ya Vamshi... To beat Rafa or Novak he needs to b on top in every aspect... Or else it's a problem against them and to win bigger tournaments he should beat them

Gautham Rajkumar
Have a feel monfils or tsitsipas will beat Federer

Fucsovics has won more points and even got 2 break points but still did not even win a set.

This should be routine

Guys you seem to be pretty sure of every match....but Roger has something or the other off in every match especially in the 2nd set
Marton is a decent player...shouldn’t be trouble but you never know..hope Roger does what he does best...serve well and volley well

Federer fan
Even if he plays bad in second set he ll win in 3rd... So I don't see roger losing here

The old man that is Roger now, should win this match with one hand behind his back even though this is only their 2nd meeting according to TT.?✌

Fed losing to lower ranked players is the problem... Like it happened in Australian open... No one seems to b serious threat in Dubai... But fed is not looking sharp thats the problem

Sanchit Chakraborty
Fed will win Dubai. That's for sure. It's like Basel from last year. It will happen one way or the other. In slams he just needs to play carefully against the youngsters he can manage against the big names. Like last year in Paris where he brought his A game against nole and almost defeated him. He just needs to win against the newbies
1
Federer fan
Exactly sanchit... Roger ll get his best game against top players... But need to b careful when he plays newbies
