DF gives the break. Pattern in Cocos matches this year keeps it close and then throws in an off game and the set goes.

I have never understood the furore of hope around gauff. It just seems to be like they want another serena. When you look at her game and mentality objectively, theres not much to show a future top 5 game is likely or make her stand our from her peers etc.

3rd time's is the Charm! Let's go Coco!

I hope this is a break out moment for Coco., Another step in a positive direction. But Halep is no Joke., New found vigor.

Tennis In Numbers
Coco is a future superstar but she is not quite ready yet to beat Simona. I mean we all know who Simona Halep is, right.

BabyE
Might be tough for coco as simo will be a threat to everyone now that she has got her groove and confidence back

simon_francis
Coco is great but it's crazy how she's knocking on the door of top 10 without many good deep runs and quality victories...

Settergirl
Do not think Coco has a chance. Maybe one set if possible.

Anything is possible.

4-6 from 4-1

Simona done really well to not get too angry. Coco has choked this, keep double faulting at key moments.

samiruffsankey
She’s really good when aggressive. Unfortunately she is too nervous on the court to get the balance.

Come on Simo 🇷🇴
Aemilius
Fiona 👍
Kian Clarke
Go out there coco and do your best!
Bobo.
Simona for the win.
Kian Clarke
Simon I disagree, she's made many quarterfinals and over since 2021. I mean she has to be knocking at the door of top 10 for a reason
Kian Clarke
Nice hold
samiruffsankey
@simon_francais she plays a full schedule, hasn’t had injury problems as of yet, she’s been picking up smaller amounts of points throughout the year. A fair few 3/4 rounds has helped her.
Kian Clarke
Another good hold
Kian Clarke
Coco looks most comfortable on clay. Still don't know why she says hard courts is her favourite when she doesn't get many great results on hard
Kian Clarke
Better match then their recent matches
GaganRoy
Simona & Spain Soil is eternal love..#🌶
Kian Clarke
Very true Sam, also the forehand is terrible 99% of the time
Kian Clarke
If coco had a consistent first serve she wouldn't throw so much
Kian Clarke
YES, aggressive coco let's go
Kian Clarke
Ok she can't throw a 3-0 lead..... surely.....
000cassandra
I could see it. Her throwing the lead.
Kian Clarke
2 net clips....
