Sad state of affairs!

I have the feeling this might be Venus last tour tournament.
She could consider retirement after the US Open. Obviously she would receive a wildcard entry if requested.
But when I think of Wimbledon I automatically think of Venus.

Mr.chess
Yep, just as I had predicted. Now poor poor Venus is finished with tennis after her doubles. She be back home moppin floors at the Kingdom Hall alongside her washedup sister.

Does male you wonder if the twp sisters are planning to retire together. Bit rediculous really.

tennis4england
I think they've stated about plans to retire together.
Wouldn't be shocked if both sister legends call it quits this year.
They have done it all there is nothing left to accomplish in tennis.

Kian Clarke
She needs to hold here
Avis W.
Not her really going to lose by the same score she lost the 2017 final with. I hate it here.
Kian Clarke
Shes played well but not at the right moments
Snoopy 10
She might well pull out of the mixed doubles, especially as Mum will probably want to go home now, as she gave up watching this match a long time ago.
Kian Clarke
No Aladdin I dont think so
Kian Clarke
Well done jabeur can't wait for VEE to play doubles
Justin Loch
I already know she was going to lose anyway
