Looking deeper on the Iga's game is usualy that - 1st meeting - depending on the level of the opposite side player - is learning curve for Iga... means she is learning player's behaviour in game.. in many levels..
then once known - there is quick finish, or need another meeting to apply what was learned.. - in M. Keys she just needed 1 set to learn.. rest was just formality.
also a surface is a big factor.

Interesting match. Both of them don’t particularly like playing against each other’s playing style. If Maddie can handle Iga’s variety she stands a great chance at winning this. If this was on any other surface I think she would win but beating Iga on clay is a big task
I think her game is extremely vulnerable to certain conditions. She always turns up at certain events and loses early at many others such as IW, Madrid etc.
Iga can win, no problem. My original comment stated Iga wasnt playing well in her first match. That why I said Keys will probably win because it would be competitive. Mensa is still acting like that's unreasonable despite the score
