Gael Monfils vs Jo-Wilfried Tsonga • Monte Carlo 2016

Hey French men. Save the energy to beat Nadal tomorrow.
Let one person win easily and go share the money afterwards. Hehehehe

They are best friends so guess they know eachother very good

The other match is more final worthy on credentials then this

Who ever wins this match.
I support you in the finals.

Go both.

No idea who is going to win this

Hope Monfils wins tomorrow

Dont enjoying this :(. Am a fan of both. This should be the final.

Come on Jo, I've fingers crossed for you. Great tennis and great guy :-)

Tsonga has a clay victory over Rafa when beating Rafa on clay is unthinkable , I learnt a lesson that day to never write tsonga off :p....... He may be inconsistent but he has the guns to upset

AO 2008 and Shanghai 2015 are the two I know of

Doesn't Jo have to win today before he plays rafa?

How 'encouraging'

Well done Gael!

Good luck Jo

@vishrut . I think tsonga has a chance ....he can hit hard like theim and challenge Rafa( given that Rafa goes to final).....

TT don't want to have the Fed cup tie betweem AUS v USA what's the deal there!!!!!! You have 2 other ties available

I think gael will pose the bigger problem against rafa or andy

Im not worried about Monfils have you seen the head to head. 11-2 for Rafa and Rafa hasn't dropped a set in those 11 wins. Not even a tiebreaker. The two wins for Monfils have come in Doha the 1st tournament of the season

May the best man win, and good luck to both!!!

@visruth... Sorry it was a hard court match

Yeah tsonga beat rafa two times on hard courts

2011 Queens and wtf

Clay will be hard for jo against rafa. hos backhand is just too weak

I think Monfils knows Joe game very well being his country man.

Might explain the shitty score for Joe now

Monfils hasn't been tested this whole tournament. Im not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing

Finish him Gael!

Impressive! Congratulations to the most athletic player in world tennis.

Monfils took out Tsonga in straight sets?
Shocking.
Didn't see that coming.
Congratulations to Rafa I guess.
I don't see Monfils winning.
Sorry.

I know emmanuel - didn't see it coming either! No I don't think he will beat Rafa, which is great lol. Hopefully a good match though with Rafa the winner!

Tsonga was just hitting the balls out of range with power that he possess, in the bid to break back or to hold serve.
