I remember watching that French open match. Thought you were cooked , two back to back five setters in the first two round. Good to have you back Andy .

Come on Andy. Go 💪🏻

Junesnowdon
Another thing to point out he still lives in GB and pays GB taxes not in a tax haven like the majority of the top players

Well done Andy!

🎾 Mr. Mensa 💜
Andy is getting there slowly.
Good win.

Think this will do him more good than coming out 2nd or 3rd Round at A O.

I completely agree and if he has plenty of money why are the top two still playing

@Junesnowdon.... further to your comment to the fact that..
I seem to support the lower ranked British players...rather than Andy well you could say...someone has to.😉
No offence

There are a number of players on the tour that I don't like, as I'm sure that...you'll have, for reasons of your own....
Each to their own.
Once again..
No offence. 👍😉

@ Seumas Mac.....
Don't you think...
That a player with Andy's calibre playing in challenger events hoping for the W/C'S which he'll be given so that he can avoid 1st round qualifying in some tournaments is risking his long term health...

Let's face it he doesn't need the money...

After all he has a wife & young family...also I believe that he & his brother still own the hotel they bought in your beautiful Scotland.

Obviously he could carry on with tennis...

They could build a teaching/training school together...
in the grounds of the hotel
with one of them...
teaching singles
the other...
teaching doubles.

I remember you wishing Andy good luck in the past, Aladdin. Definitely a secret fan 😉

Fwiw I don't think he'd risk his long term health if he thought this would harm it. He needs the match practise that he was obviously hoping to get at the AO.

He doesn't do any of this for the money. Never has. Watch the Resurfacing documentary for proof of that.

He already has a player management company, I'm sure he'll take on some kind of coaching when his career is over, which is certainly not right now.

When qualifying becomes a show: the transformation of Opening Week in Melbourne and Paris
Clément Gehl 28/12/2025 à 11h59
Long regarded as a simple appetizer before the main show, qualifying week has now established itself as an event in its own right. Between raw emotions, spectacular innovations, and record attendance, Opening Week is shaking up the codes of world tennis.

From a fight for equality to a media spectacle: the history of the “Battle of the Sexes”
Jules Hypolite 27/12/2025 à 17h01
In 1973, Billie Jean King did far more than beat Bobby Riggs: she toppled a symbol. Five decades later, the “Battle of the Sexes” is reborn between Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios, but this time, the battle seems to have lost its soul.
The digital era of tennis: stakes and influence of social networks on players
The digital era of tennis: stakes and influence of social networks on players
Arthur Millot 27/12/2025 à 11h26
Social networks have opened an unprecedented era for tennis: one in which notoriety is built as much on the court as on Instagram. But how far can this quest for visibility go without shaking the players’ balance?
