It's his job, Aladdin, so it is essential travel. I think the stumbling block with him taking part in the AO after missing the scheduled player flights was the quarantine requirements.

Strange how Andy managed to travel from the U.K. to Italy with all the current travel restrictions, especially as he tested positive for Covid19 a few weeks ago, which had prevented him going to the AO. I Wouldn't class it as essential travel to a Challenger 50 tennis tournament.

At least he'll be able to quarantine on his return, In his own hotel that he owns along with his brother in Scotland. 😁

It wouldn't surprise me if he chartered his own flight to get there, so he can claim it back thru tax relief, being a canny Scot. 🤔😁😁
