Bugger off Tomic. Please don't ever come back to Australia.
Long live the New King of Aussie Tennis. Happy Birthday Nick Kyrgios. Many Happy returns 'master blaster '
@fahim.. I don't think that makes Andy most humiliating/terrible no.1 ever. I think you forget that pre Federer era there were bunch of short time no.1 players who couldn't hold on for more than few weeks. Fed, Rafa, and Djokovic made that a distant memory for us.
Nah he'll hang with it till at least wtf because he's only defending three titles till the fall: rome, wimbledon, and queens. Djokovic is becoming further and further behind and Federer and Nadal will have to play a very packed schedule in order to chase it which I am 99% sure considering their age will opt out of.
The term Fan Week is increasingly popular in sports. Aimed at energizing tennis and making it attractive in everyone’s eyes, this event—now indispensable at certain major tournaments—is enjoying growing success.
Long regarded as a simple appetizer before the main show, qualifying week has now established itself as an event in its own right. Between raw emotions, spectacular innovations, and record attendance, Opening Week is shaking up the codes of world tennis.
In 1973, Billie Jean King did far more than beat Bobby Riggs: she toppled a symbol. Five decades later, the “Battle of the Sexes” is reborn between Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios, but this time, the battle seems to have lost its soul.
Social networks have opened an unprecedented era for tennis: one in which notoriety is built as much on the court as on Instagram. But how far can this quest for visibility go without shaking the players’ balance?
Tennis never really stops… or almost. Behind the endless stream of tournaments, champions must learn to stop in order to last. From Federer to Alcaraz, an investigation into those decisive few weeks when everything is at stake: rest, release, and rebirth.
