Murray at the moment totally deserves number one. Well they used to talk about the big 4. Likely because they were consistently there for such a long time. Are we now looking at the big 2? People that have a go at murray are simply doing so because they don't like him at a personal level (although they even know the guy personally). His will to win or not to lose accounts for his antics on court and this is what drives him to win. It may not look pretty but it has surely to be respected. He's a true sportsman. And at the end of day you can only beat who's in front of you and at the moment he is beating everyone.
And since when has getting the No 1 spot been dependent on beating your closest rival? Federer held No 1 for ages despite being Rafa's bunny. I rest my case.
I hope Murray loses in two sets and never come close to no1 not because I like Nole simply he didn't show nothing spectacular in order to be no1 he one Wimbledon and couple of 1000 and all of the sudden he is best???? Even he gets to be no1 it would be so short that no one will remember him as no1 5 years from now
Andy is unplayable at the moment and won't be stopped until he is no.1. He will not miss this chance and will give it everything as always.
A great champion and person finally getting what he deserves.
A lot of hatred for Andy when he does well and other people's favourite are dwindling. Sad bitterness for go heat and Kelly.
Soon to get worse for them..
Youre kidding goheat?? The facts are hes in his 11th final. Which is 2 more then djok. Probably about to equal djok for titles this year (7). Including winning 52/55 matches since rome. Thats a worthy run to claim no.1
@goheat you have got to have been watching the wrong player. Andy is spectacular and his wizardry of shot selection rivals even that of Roger. Change your specs mate!
Such a turn off! That's why I can't warm up to you.
Always bitching and whining about anything and everything, geez!!
A great champion and person finally getting what he deserves.
Soon to get worse for them..
