Why is Osaka on the main court? She's should place on the lowest court available

Come on Naomi! You can do it!

Hopefully the USTA & WTA, will not allow her to pull the same stunt as she did last week.

At least she's had 3 full days rest this time for her injury. ????

By the way I thought she was injured so why is she playing

Wow! This is going to be a good one for comments, Boy Howdy. And what were the chances of 2 Japanese girls playing each other out of hundreds of players? My, my, my, am I gonna have a good time with this one. You got one REAL Japanese Cutie-Pie player taking on some Japanese wanna-be player who is about washed up anyway. Much like Sloane Stephens who did well for a year and then just fizzled out. I know Misaki is only 5'3 or something like that, but my money is on her. Yes, she has a name that sounds like a sauce I put on my noodles, but that's beside the point. At least Misaki knows her true country and plays under a real Japanese flag. I look forward to this match and I hope people just keep their negative comments to themselves....because it's bad for my digestion when I hear people looking for trouble.

What in the world is naomi wearing?
Mr.chess
Well, well, now-- it sure seems Misaki is giving a well deserved shellacking in this 2nd. set...as for Naomi, that's what she gets.
Mr.chess
Obviously someone neglected to inform Naomi that this is a TENNIS match, hellooooooo! She came dressed for a track meet or looks like one of those policia we see directing traffic in Paris France.
Mr.chess
Naomi just may well pull this one out, even though she looks a little winded and tired already. I did look up her uniform on wiki and all it is, it's just a collegiate pole-vault suit with a pair of black shorts pulled up over it. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Mr.chess
Yep. Just as I had predicted all along.
🎾 HCW2U🎾
Get some rest Naomi.
🎾 Mr. Mensa 💜
So Hope, how far do you think she can go in this?

From a fight for equality to a media spectacle: the history of the “Battle of the Sexes”

In 1973, Billie Jean King did far more than beat Bobby Riggs: she toppled a symbol. Five decades later, the “Battle of the Sexes” is reborn between Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios, but this time, the battle seems to have lost its soul.

The digital era of tennis: stakes and influence of social networks on players
Arthur Millot 27/12/2025 à 11h26
Social networks have opened an unprecedented era for tennis: one in which notoriety is built as much on the court as on Instagram. But how far can this quest for visibility go without shaking the players’ balance?
