I still think the chair umpire should have filed criminal assault charges. Enough of this BS behavior. I know some think it's part of the game but that too is BS. It's not.

Even Zverev's verbal assault and abuse was inexcusable that day.

riled up and cause his true 'nature' to be revealed. 😏 Then the ban will come. It's going to be interesting to see zverev try to control his tantrums. Might mess with his game too.

Such poor decisions. I’m not defending Nick’s behaviour but he got suspended for throwing a chair when Zverev can get away with almost purposefully hitting an umpire with his racket, so inconsistent decision making.

Unless you count the string of DFs he served up to let Tommy P. back in the match.

And the abysmal performance in the tiebreak.

Tommy P. had a great first set. Lost momentum but hung in there til the tiebreak and then rocked poor Sasha's world.

It was fun to watch.

Tommy's just got to make him angry 👹, which can be easily done, to get Sascha rightfully banned, as it seems as though there's different strokes for different folks!!

It's a suspended ban with conditions. Basically probation. If he efs up within twelve months he'll have a ban enforced. Which I think is punishment-light. To say the least.
