I'm surprised at how little people went for Pegula, she's been playin reall well this season

Kurapika K.
Impressive how this player who has been in the top 10 for more than 4 years cannot play decent on clay. Not a single great performance on clay corut. She is just embarrassing. Roland Garros for Osaka will be the same thing.

Love both, hoping Jess can win! 🇺🇸
Osaka in 3 though
6-2, 5-7, 7-6

Agree @Mocke. I’m surprised that a lot of people went Osaka, this was one to avoid.

Osaka needs Sascha back becuz the technical side of her tennis has decreased. Her first serve percentage is lower, her clay results are worse, 3even her GS victories are getting sloppier. Her mentality is better, she doesnt give up, but yeah. also she stopped using drop shots and silences and her fineness doesnt seem to be where it was

Congrats Jess!

🎾 Mr. Mensa 💜
On clay, there's no contest.
On hard court, it's a different story.

When Naomi, if Naomi learns to play on clay, she will be dangerous, until then, these types of results will keep happening.

I'm also shocked a lot more ppl didn't go Jessica.

Not an easy match for Naomi.

Jessica 🇺🇸, hopefully for the win in a close match, possibly take 3 sets.

...it's about time Osaka to do something about clay...
xtian_mercury
I hope Jess can win this... whoever wins it, it’ll be in 3 sets for sure
Mimi
...well she is the favourite. ..just want Osaka to make an effort
Darth_JR
Naomi had a chanxe to win first set but wasnt able to convert 2 points 5-5
Darth_JR
She seems engaged so thats good
Mimi
...she need more matches on clay ....so far so good
samiruffsankey
Jess should close this quickly now. Naomi needed that first set.
Mimi
True Pegula much better on clay
Andrei Dragomir
At least she plays good on fast courts😆🥱
Mimi
..not bad...
samiruffsankey
Well done Jess.
Aemilius
