Sports & politics shouldn't mix. Wimbledon's decision to ban Russian players is unjustified under any context. Players should compete on skill alone, nationalism is irrelevant.

As stated Rybakina changed nationality 5 years ago, I'd understand if players will just switch a few weeks before Wimbledon just to play. It's unfortunate but what's done is done don't drag her into this

A lot of tennis players choose different options for the betterment of their career. For instance, many choose to play college tennis in the USA so similarly, Rybakina chose to play for Kazakhstan as their tennis federation was willing to sponsor her and its well known how difficult it is to survive on the ITF circuit as a junior pro without a sponsor or any financial backing. These things don't happen randomly.

Halep's screams on every hit are beyond annoying to the spectators and are off-putting to opponents. Also Patrick needs to work on his ego. First time I watch Helena play but I think she is awesome....hope she wins.

I don't disagree with what you are saying. I am just calling out Wimbledon. If their intent was to ban Russians and Belarusians, what's the difference between Kasatkina and Rybakina? It's like Djokovic gets funding from Germany and plays under the German flag. He is never German, he is always Serbian. That's my point. Anyway this whole thing is so hypocritical and shameful. But noone seems to want to call anything out these days.
